COMMONWEALTH SKATEPARK - PORTLAND, OREGON

In January of 2011 we began construction on an indoor concrete skatepark in the Hawthorne district of Portland, Oregon. The park was built in a small, 100 year old warehouse and despite both budget and spatial constraints the park turned out great, utilizing every inch of skate able space possible. The park features a fun smaller bowl with a pool coping pocket, a mini ramp and a small street course with a rail and a few ledges. Commonwealth Skateboarding has been a great addition to the Portland skate scene and gives skaters a place to go during our many months of rain and inclement weather. They also have art shows, parties, and events.

Evergreen got super creative with both the design and construction of Commonwealth in order to use our limited space to the maximum. They are skaters themselves and seriously care about making great skateparks—going way above and beyond the normal call of duty to get the job done in a quality, efficient manner.
